Child Education Journal does not charge authors at the manuscript submission stage. Publication-related charges apply only after a manuscript has completed the required editorial and peer-review process and has received an official acceptance decision.

What Does the Publication Charge Cover?

The Article Publication Charge supports the technical and production processes required to prepare an accepted manuscript for formal publication.

The publication charge is a production and publication service charge. It does not influence reviewer recommendations or the Editor's independent decision regarding manuscript acceptance.

Article Length Policy

The standard publication service covers manuscripts of up to 20 pages in the final journal-formatted layout.

Articles exceeding 20 final formatted pages are subject to an additional production charge of:
IDR 100,000 per additional page
The final page count is determined after journal layout and typesetting, not from the author's original manuscript file.

Figure and Illustration Policy

The standard publication service includes up to 2 figures in the final published article.

Each additional figure beyond the first two figures is subject to:
IDR 50,000 per additional figure
Figure charges are calculated based on figures included in the final accepted and published version.

Priority / Fast-Track Review Handling

Authors with legitimate time-sensitive publication needs may request Priority / Fast-Track Review Handling, subject to approval by the Editorial Office.

Where academically appropriate and reviewer availability permits, the Editor may assign additional qualified reviewer(s) so that parts of the evaluation process can proceed in parallel and reduce unnecessary waiting time in the regular review queue.

Priority review does not guarantee acceptance.
Priority handling does not remove, reduce, or bypass the journal's academic and ethical review requirements.
Priority review cannot bypass:
  • Editorial screening
  • Independent peer review
  • Required manuscript revisions
  • Re-review where required
  • Plagiarism and similarity screening
  • Research ethics verification
  • Authorship verification
  • Methodological and reference verification
  • Final editorial decision
  • Proofreading and production checking
Availability: Priority / Fast-Track Review Handling is available by request and subject to Editorial Office approval and reviewer availability.

Revision Does Not Mean Acceptance

A manuscript is considered ACCEPTED only after an official acceptance decision has been issued by the Editor or Editorial Office.

The following do not automatically constitute acceptance:

  • Submission confirmation
  • Successful editorial screening
  • Reviewer recommendation
  • Submission of a revised manuscript
  • Completion of re-review
  • Priority / fast-track request
  • Estimated publication schedule
  • Invoice issuance
  • Administrative communication

Editorial Independence

Publication charges and additional production charges do not influence reviewer recommendations or the Editor's independent decision. Manuscripts remain subject to academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, relevance to the journal's Focus and Scope, and applicable editorial policies.
