Vol. 6 No. 1 (2024) Advancements in Biomedical Research: Insights from Medical Laboratory and Technology

Medical Laboratory and Technology encompass various biomedical research topics, including the potential of Haliclona sp. sponge as a source of bioactive compounds against multidrug-resistant bacteria, the importance of sigma metrics in assessing laboratory method performance, markers of liver injury in dengue patients, alternative staining methods for diagnosing soil-transmitted helminth infections, and the use of platelet parameters as prognostic indicators in COVID-19 patients. These studies collectively contribute to our understanding of antimicrobial discovery, laboratory quality control, tropical disease management, diagnostic innovation, and COVID-19 pathology, offering valuable insights to address complex biomedical challenges and improve patient care and outcomes.
