Vol. 8 No. 2 (2026) Diagnostic Development Must Encompass All Stages of Testing
Laboratory testing requires development across the entire spectrum—from diagnosis and treatment to ongoing patient care. Such development should not be limited to the testing methods themselves; it must also extend to the pre-analytical and post-analytical phases. This development process can involve a wide range of approaches, from utilizing natural substances to employing state-of-the-art molecular techniques. Examples include leveraging specific laboratory parameters to improve diagnostic sensitivity, using natural materials to stain microorganisms, and developing molecular diagnostic kits.
The articles in this issue were authored/co-authored by authors Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Rwanda, Egypt and Saudi Arabia
