Plagiarism and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

Plagiarism Policy. Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original works. Any use of the ideas, words, data, or materials of others must be properly cited and referenced.

MTPHJ screens all submitted manuscripts using Turnitin. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this limit may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected. The similarity report will also be reviewed by the editors to determine whether the similarities constitute plagiarism.

AI-generated Content. Manuscripts may also be screened for AI-generated content. The maximum acceptable AI similarity is 25%. Authors are responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their manuscripts and must disclose the use of AI tools in accordance with the journal's Artificial Intelligence Policy.

Multiple, Excess, or Simultaneous Publications. Authors must not submit or publish substantially the same manuscript in more than one journal simultaneously. Such practices are considered unethical and unacceptable.
