Edukasi Risiko Paparan Gas Hidrogen Sulfida pada Masyarakat Di Area TPA Sampah Cibeureum di Kota Banjar

H2S is a gas that is colourless, flammable and very poisonous and produces a strong odour. H2S comes from the generation of rotting organic waste. The people living in the Cibeureum TPA area generally only complain about the bad smell of the garbage pile, but do not know that there is H2S in the garbage pile that poses a risk to health. Exposure conditions approaching 50 ppm alone will cause symptoms of drowsiness and headaches. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide an understanding of the risks of exposure togas H2S to the people who live in the Cibeureum TPA area. It was conducted by extension methods and attended by 86 people who live in the Cibeureum TPA area. The results of the counselling show that the public knows more about and understands the risks of exposure H2S to health.
