Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kegagalan pemberian air susu ibu secara eksklusif sering dialami oleh ibu bekerja. Penyebab yang banyak ditemukan adalah produksi air susu ibu turun karena jarang memerah air susu ibu di tempat kerja dan stress yang dialami setelah kembali bekerja.

Metode: penelitian metode kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design ini berlangsung di beberapa instansi tempat kerja di wilayah kelurahan Wonokromo periode bulan Februari – Juni 2018. Kelompok sampel dibedakan menjadi dua yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok kasus. Kelompok kontrol adalah volume air susu ibu yang diperah sebelum menggunakan media audiovisual dan kelompok kasus adalah volume air susu ibu yang diperah setelah menggunakan media audiovisual. Total sampel 30 responden. Variabel independen adalah media audiovisual dan variabel dependen adalah peningkatan volume air susu ibu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan dianalisis secara bivariate dengan uji t 2 sampel berpasangan.

Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media audiovisual berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan volume air susu ibu (95% CI = -523 sampai -077; p = 0,01).

Kesimpulan: media audiovisual mempengaruhi peningkatan volume air susu ibu pada ibu bekerja.
